Our theologically-rooted Christian vision:
As each has received a gift, use it to serve, as good stewards of God's love.
1 Peter 4:10
God gives us gifts (skills, talents, abilities along with the gift of the world), we use these to serve others to show our love for each other and our love of God. In our school, our children live our Christian Values that celebrate our love of God and our stewardship of each other and the world.
At Turners Hill CofE School we aim for our children to flourish and become:
Stewards of the Earth – proudly being a member of the Turners Hill family, engaging with their community whilst understanding and embracing diversity in our world.
Eager to learn – using their gifts to ensure they develop lively, enquiring minds to fulfil their potential with high academic achievement.
Faithful to God – developing their own values and beliefs along with the respect of all religions and cultures within the context of a Church of England primary school.
Using God’s gifts to reach their full potential we aim for our children to become:
‘Stewards of the Earth, Eager to Learn, Faithful to God.'
We ensure that every child has access to a broad, balanced and supportive curriculum. Through this, we are able to give our pupils a range of opportunities and experiences to grow and develop academically, physically, socially and morally.
At Turners Hill CofE Primary School we aim high. We want every part of our school community - pupils, parents and members of staff to experience success. We will work with everyone to create a happy, safe and stimulating setting where children are motivated to learn together. By maintaining high expectations of ourselves and each other, our children will be equipped to encounter opportunities and challenges with resilience and determination. We encourage a curiosity about the world and strive to ensure that our children will contribute positively, now and in the future.
