Our small fundraising group work together to raise much needed funds for the school in order to enhance our children's educational environment and support the school in anyway we can.
As a small group of volunteers made up of parents and grand-parents, we hold a number of events throughout the year with the main aim being for the children to have fun whilst raising money!
In the last financial year, we focused on ensuring that our events were inclusive and given the pressures of the financial crisis we worked hard to keep our costs low, in some cases subsidising events to ensure they were accessible for all.
We hosted a Christmas Panto, Mother's Day and Father's Day sales, Coronation Celebrations and our Colour Run to bring the children and families together at the end of the school year.
In the year ending August 2023 the money raised after all costs and expenses was £1904.58.
The money raised has gone to fund a new outside reading room which we hope to have built and ready for use in the next month or so.
We also funded Coronation Day Celebrations and bought each child a wooden carved keepsake.
Following in FoTHS tradition each Year 6 pupil was given a Leavers Hoody when they left in the Summer to embark on the next stage of their education.
If you would like to get involved or have any fundraising ideas, we would love to hear from you. For further information please visit the school office or alternatively see Kelly, Carly or Lisa in the playground.
